Our History.
Cabo Construction Management (CCM) began in 1973 as "Coulson Construction" (General Building Contractor Lic. 311445) in Southern California and in 1980 added the license of Engineering Contractor. Over the years 42 custom homes were built along with several large commercial projects. Coulson Construction was known for offering the best quality at a very competitive price. Between the years of 1996 and 2006 Coulson Construction started building restaurant's for Rubios Fresh Mexican Grill (60 total) and Daphne's Greek Cafe (24 total) plus another 10 for various companies.
In 2006 the business was relocated to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and created as Cabo Construction Management (CCM). We have two offices, Cabo San Lucas serving the Los Cabos area and Cerritos serving Todos Santos, Pescadero and Cerritos area. The two main items of service offered are: (1) Construction Management and General Contracting of custom homes and (2) home inspections for buyers and agents.
In addition we also offer land evaluation, surveying, architectural and expediting of permits and government approvals.

Below is typical local block construction.
Cabo Construction Management, on request uses the popular block, post and beam construction. With local craftsmen we build quality block homes. This system uses concrete posts and beams with hollow block infill. Advantages: Economical, familiar and well known to local tradesmen. Fire resistance. No termite damage.
Disadvantages: No insulation, not as strong as other construction methods. Makes running plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems more difficult and time consuming.
US Style Block construction
Advantages: Stronger, more architectural options.
Fire resistance, no termite damage.
Disadvantages: More expensive, no insulation,
Makes running plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems more difficult and time consuming.
Dry Stacked Block
Advantages: Strong, fast and less expensive
Fire resistance, no termite damage.
Disadvantage: No insulation,
Makes running plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems more difficult and time consuming.
TridiPanel Foam Panel
Advantages: Good insulation values, architectural options, Can span greater distances than other types of construction.
Disadvantages: More expensive than other types of construction, plumbing, electrical and mechanical are more costly and take longer, and wasted cement and sand during the shotcrete process.
Recycled Steel Stud Framing
Advantages: Fast, strong and many architectural design options. It can be insulated and running. plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems is very fast and easy. Fire resistance, no termite damage.
Disadvantages: More expensive than block.
Quad-Lock Construction
Advantages: Great insulation values, architectural options, Can span greater distances than other types of construction.
Disadvantages: More expensive than other types of construction, requires workers with specialized knowledge and training with the product.
